A Classic Movie Christmas

December 11, 2011

A little video I put together with classic film clips, featuring Christmas-y and winter-y scenes! I had so much fun making this!! I've actually been planning on making a video set to this song (Goldfrapp's version of Winter Wonderland... I know, I know, I can't seem to stop making videos set to their music!) and I'm so glad I finally found time to do it in time for Christmas this year! :)

And in case you missed it, here is my New Year's video from last year!

What a perfect Christmas video! :D I really love that you included We're No Angels. And the Citizen Kane clips are a great idea, too! I wouldn't have thought of them!

This is such a pretty song. I'm quite a Goldfrapp fan because of you! ;D

Aw, I loved this! It made me feel so much more Christmasy and cheery! :D
One question: What's the film at :54? It looks so familiar and I can't think of it!
Also - all of these people ice skating just made me yearn for it. I can't even skate. lol!

Oh, this is a great video, Kate! I love that you have clips from Bell, Book, and Candle. A lot of people don't think of it as a holiday movie, although it really is! I am surprised you didn't have a lot of clips from Christmas in Connecticut, given how much you love Barbara Stanwyck! It's one of my absolute favourite holiday movies. :-)

Thanks! :)

Terry- I wanted to include that too but the song was only 3 minutes so I couldn't include all of the movies I wanted to :)

I love it!! There are so many clips and, apparently, lots of Christmas-y movies that I need to see!!

Really well done, Kate!
