Someone was having a lot of fun making this film.
MaryAnneAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15018622851546051511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6952132016236201534.post-38136247149026061582009-11-20T23:11:07.909-05:002009-11-20T23:11:07.909-05:00Another good write-up, Kate. It sounds like fun...especially with Robert Morley. He is always a kick.pjowens75https://www.blogger.com/profile/09635922968646136515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6952132016236201534.post-29523083046468392692009-11-20T20:41:51.063-05:002009-11-20T20:41:51.063-05:00I know what you mean about wanting to save a good ...I know what you mean about wanting to save a good movie. I always tend to put things off if I know I'm really going to enjoy them, because that way I still have it to look forward to and don't have to be disappointed that it's over. The great thing about movies though is that we can always watch them again, as you've obviously discovered.

I'll definitely check this one out if I ever get a chance, because it sounds like a really great parody, and as you pointed out those are so hard to pull off.Caitlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00797180553972324709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6952132016236201534.post-91049971038463032622009-11-20T18:58:37.361-05:002009-11-20T18:58:37.361-05:00I can't believe I've never heard of this m...I can't believe I've never heard of this movie; I'm crazy about spy spoofs! I'm assuming this is a lot better than Modesty Blaise--though I did enjoy DB in that one :-)KChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17587905976811500791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6952132016236201534.post-40226242030402602342009-11-20T18:55:32.239-05:002009-11-20T18:55:32.239-05:00I think Hot Enough for June may well be my favouri...I think Hot Enough for June may well be my favourite Dirk Bogarde film of all time. I agree with you that it is perfectly balanced as a spoof. And what I really love about it is that it pretty much spoofs the whole spy genre, from James Bond to Hitchcock's classics. Most spoofs of the era stopped at Bond. Or at The Man From U.N.C.L.E. It is such a fun film!Terence Towles Canotehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18397088843628331615noreply@blogger.com
